2. Credit Toward Future Programs

While refunds are not available, SHI Macrobiotics may offer:

  • Credit toward a future course enrollment, or
  • Credit toward another eligible online educational program

Credits are provided at the discretion of the organization and must be requested within a reasonable timeframe.

3. Lifetime Access Policy

This course includes lifetime access, with the following important conditions:

  • “Lifetime access” refers to the lifetime availability of the course as long as it remains offered by SHI Macrobiotics.
  • Access is intended for the lifetime of the enrolled student only and may not be transferred to another person.

4. Course Changes or Removal

SHI Macrobiotics reserves the right to:

  • Update course materials
  • Modify lesson content
  • Restructure program offerings
  • Remove or discontinue the course in the future

If the course is discontinued or removed, students will receive at least six (6) months advance notice.

5. Responsibility to Download Materials

Students are encouraged to download any available course resources within the appropriate access period.

If the course is removed or significantly restructured and a student has not obtained downloadable materials within the provided timeframe, continued access may become null and void.

6. Organizational Changes

In the event that SHI Macrobiotics undergoes restructuring, reform, or closure, the organization will make every reasonable effort to provide students with:

  • Advance notice (minimum of 6 months)
  • Guidance on accessing remaining course materials during the transition

7. Community and Mentorship Access (Not Lifetime)

Please note that community based access through the Mentorship Program is not included as part of lifetime access.

The Mentorship Program includes interactive components such as:

  • Live or scheduled Zoom calls

  • Direct access to the instructor, Susan Waxman

  • Engagement with other mentorship students

  • Ongoing class based discussion and support

Because these features require active teacher involvement and scheduled group participation, mentorship and community access must be purchased separately for each enrollment period.

Lifetime access applies only to the self paced course materials included in the Standard Program, not to ongoing mentorship services or live instructional access.
